Spindrift is a collection of garments and textile pieces shaped through slow, hand-made processes of spinning, knitting, weaving and crochet. Inspired by the wild yet peaceful rhythms of the coast, with waves shifting over sand, mussels growing in clusters on rocks and the geometry of sheoak seed pods, I explore how the experience of nature becomes a language of connection. Working with locally sourced and repurposed materials, each piece carries its own history. The collection reflects the coastal landscape of Wilson’s Promontory, a place of deep personal meaning. These works are meditations on memory, emotion and place: luxurious yet grounded textiles made to hold time, care and the enduring presence of nature.
